Occupational forces of the Kremlin have once again shelled Dnipropetrovsk region, causing destruction and human casualties

According to the latest reports, as a result of ongoing attacks on the region, two civilians have been injured, and infrastructure has suffered significant damage. The attacks are carried out using various types of weapons, including drones and artillery, and have continued for several days in a row. Serhiy Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, who promptly informs the public about the situation via his Telegram channel, reported on the extent of the destruction and human losses. According to him, the region is experiencing powerful shelling, particularly targeting the city of Nikopol, the Marganets and Pokrov communities, as well as the suburbs of Miriivka. Enemy attacks involving FPV drones and artillery have damaged residential buildings, infrastructure facilities, service stations, garages, and power lines. "Two men aged 43 and 53 were injured. Both are currently in hospital in a moderate condition. Several private houses have been destroyed, a large multi-storey building was damaged, a service station, a garage, and power lines were also affected. At the same time, a large fire broke out, which has already been extinguished by rescue teams," reported Serhiy Lysak. In the Synelnykove district, particularly within the Mezhivka and Slovyansk communities, the security situation remains tense. According to him, drone strikes have caused fires in the region, which firefighters managed to quickly contain. At the same time, damage has been recorded — a cultural center in a village was destroyed, and a private residence was damaged. Authorities emphasize that at night, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down at least six drones attempting to penetrate the region’s airspace over Dnipropetrovsk. Local residents and experts point to the systematic nature of Russian military aggression, noting that the enemy’s efforts are aimed at destroying vital facilities, damaging infrastructure, and sowing panic among the population. From time to time, the occupiers carry out massive shelling attempts to undermine stability in the region and demoralize residents. Regional authorities urge residents to stay alert, strictly follow safety rules, and remain calm during these difficult times. Meanwhile, work is ongoing to localize damages and restore infrastructure — to return normal life as quickly as possible and minimize the consequences of enemy attacks. According to military and rescue services, the situation remains tense, but Ukrainian defenders continue to control the skies over the region and destroy enemy targets. All services are recording and promptly responding to any new challenges using modern air defense systems and rapid response measures. Due to these attacks, an evacuation and assistance mechanism is constantly functioning to minimize human casualties and reduce the scale of destruction.
