The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports a dramatic and tense course of hostilities ongoing at the front starting from the morning of June 9

According to operational data, over this single day at the front line, more than a hundred combat engagements took place — specifically, 124 have been recorded. This indicates an especially active phase of Russian offensives and fierce fighting in various sectors of the front. As of the morning briefing from the General Staff, the enemy employed a significant amount of weaponry and massed attack capabilities: Russian forces carried out one powerful missile strike with 21 rockets and conducted 48 airstrikes using 53 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, the enemy troops used over 1,300 kamikaze drones — totaling 1,347 — aiming to inflict maximum damage on Ukrainian positions and civilian infrastructure. Overall, there have been more than 4,343 shellings — confirming the scale and deliberate targeting of enemy actions. In different sectors of the front, the situation remains tense. In Kharkiv Oblast, Ukrainian forces successfully detected and repelled four attacks by Russian assault units in the areas of Vovchansk, Kamianka, and Hlybokove. This demonstrates Russian activity in this sector, but Ukrainian defenders hold the line and prevent further advances. In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian troops managed to repel six assault attempts in the areas of Kyndrashivka, Zahrysove, Holubivka, Steova Novoselivka, and Kolisnykivka. This once again shows the high combat endurance of Ukrainian defenders and their readiness not to give way to the enemy. In the Lyman sector, where Russian operations have intensified, nine attacks took place near Lypove over the course of the day, as well as in the areas of Rykodub, Karpivka, Nove Miro, Olhivka, and Hryhorivka. The military is exerting efforts to contain the enemy, and from the first lines of defense, Ukrainian soldiers assure that they are steadfastly holding their positions. On the Kramatorsk front, Ukrainian defenders actively repelled five attacks in the areas of Boiarka and Kurdyumivka, indicating Russian activity in this section of the front. Similarly, on the Toretsk sector, the enemy persistently attacked Ukrainian positions eleven times over the day, with main efforts in the areas of Diliivka, Toretsk, and Yablunivka. Ukrainian military officials exclude any intention of the Russians to lessen the intensity of the fighting and continue to hold their defensive lines tenaciously. Particularly cynical and persistent were Russian attacks on the Pokrovsk sector, where the enemy made thirty attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses in the areas of Nova Poltavka, Novoukrainka, Novoolenivka, Bohdanivka, Novoserhiiivka, and others. The military also reports over ten attempts at breakthrough in the directions of Zelenyi Kut, Pokrovsk, and Muravka. Meanwhile, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled two enemy advances near Malyna and are maintaining control of the situation. On the Novopavlivka sector, the enemy launched 12 attacks in the areas of Kostyantynivka, Novosilka, Zelenyi Pol, Vilne Pol, Vesely, and also in the directions of Shevchenko, Bakhatyrya, and Zaporizhzhia. Fighting continues for control of these territories, and Ukrainian soldiers demonstrate high resilience. Another important news is the active resistance of Ukrainian defenders in the Huliaipole sector, where they repelled two of three attempted advances near Malynivka. This is a strategically significant and highly tense area. The situation remains just as difficult in the Orihiv district, where Ukrainian forces repelled four enemy assaults in the areas of Novoandraivka, Stepoe, Nesterian, and in the direction of Pavlivka. Ukrainian defenders are working proactively to halt Russian attempts to push forward. On the Prydniprovske front, the enemy made four attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses near the Antonivskyi Bridge, which remains one of the key battlegrounds. Overall, on the Kursk sector, 25 attacks by Russian troops were recorded over the course of a day, all of which Ukrainian forces managed to repel. This once again proves the high level of readiness and courage of Ukrainian soldiers, who, despite numerous and powerful shellings and assaults, hold their positions and prevent the enemy from advancing further. In summary, the situation remains complex and tense, with continual activity from Russian forces and high-intensity combat across all fronts. Ukrainian defenders demonstrate a fierce will to win, and their defensive positions hold even under the most challenging conditions, reinforcing hope for a swift and final victory for Ukraine.
