Viktor Tregubov, a military spokesperson, assured during a nationwide telethon that, at present, Russian forces remain within the Donetsk region and have not advanced to the administrative border of Dnipropetrovsk, although they are actively engaged in fighting in western Donetsk. The spokesperson stated clearly: "Russian troops have not crossed the border between Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Battles are underway specifically on the western approaches to Donetsk, but I firmly assure you: there has been no breakthrough or advance to the Dnipropetrovsk border. The plans and actions of the Russians do not match the claims circulating in propaganda media — all of this is false and an attempt at disinformation." According to military sources, the most tense situation is concentrated in the Pokrovsk direction — this is where the Russians are deploying efforts along the entire front line, exerting systematic pressure. Over 50 inter-military clashes and skirmishes are recorded daily there, significantly exceeding the intensity of hostilities in other sectors. The representative emphasized that this sector has remained a priority for the occupying forces for over two years, and they are making every effort to advance specifically in this area. It is worth recalling that a few days ago, the Russian Ministry of Defense disseminated information about supposedly continuing their military operation in Ukraine, claiming that their units had made a successful move and had advanced into the depths of Ukrainian defenses, including near Dnipropetrovsk region. This message caused surprise and questions among Ukrainian military personnel and analysts, as there have been no confirmations of any breakthroughs in the specified areas, and front-line data indicate stable conditions. Thus, as of now, the official Ukrainian side assures that hostilities continue, but the Russians have not yet reached the border of Dnipropetrovsk region. Ukrainian military officials emphasize that the situation is under control and urge not to believe propaganda reports aimed at misleading the public and increasing panic among the population. Meanwhile, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold the line and are preparing for any developments in the situation to ensure the safety of civilians and the territorial integrity of the region.
