Early in the morning of June 9, a new provocation occurred in Bilozirka, Kherson region, carried out by Russian occupation forces, resulting in injuries to local residents

According to preliminary information, the regional military administration reported an attack conducted using an unmanned aerial vehicle — a drone launched from the territory controlled by the occupiers. This is not the first time that Russians have used drones to attack peaceful towns and settlements in the region, causing human casualties and destroying infrastructure. According to data from the Kherson Regional Military Administration, two civilians — men aged 40 and 43 — were injured as a result of this act of terrorism. An official representative of the administration stated that both suffered serious injuries caused by the blast wave and shrapnel. The victims were diagnosed with blast injuries, concussions, and severe head trauma. Medical personnel quickly provided first aid and transported them to a hospital, where they are currently under the supervision of specialists. The regional military administration team notes that such attacks are part of Russia’s tactics of intimidation and destruction of civilian infrastructure. These actions understandably cause concern among residents, especially considering that Bilozirka is located close to the occupied territory, where Russian forces are attempting to create constant tension and intimidate the local population. Local authorities urge residents to remain calm and exercise caution, as Russian occupiers continue to carry out aggressive actions that put civilians at risk. At the same time, Ukrainian defenders confirm that ongoing military support and efforts by the Ukrainian army to counter enemy reconnaissance and strike drones—including the improvement of air defense systems—offer hope for reducing enemy attacks. This is yet another alarming report from the temporarily occupied region, highlighting the relentless nature of Russian military aggression and emphasizing the need to strengthen the protection of peaceful civilians. Local authorities and the military call on residents to stay vigilant and report any suspicious objects or situations that may pose a threat to their safety.
