A change in weather conditions is expected in Ukraine: at the beginning of the week, sunny and warm weather will prevail, but by midweek, along with the cooling, rain and thunderstorms will arrive, which will concern all residents of the country
According to the Ukrhydrometcenter, on Tuesday, June 10, dry and clear weather will mostly persist. During the night, an atmospheric front will bring rain and thunderstorms mainly to the western regions, and during the day, they will spread to the northern areas: Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, and Cherkasy. Overall, short-term clearings are expected across the country, but on June 11, signs of bad weather will become active again. On this day, rain with thunderstorms is possible in western and northern regions, while in Kyiv and central regions, short-term showers may occur. During the night, temperatures will range from +8 to +14°C, and during the day, from +18 to +24°C. It will be especially warm in the south and east: here, nighttime temperatures will rise to +16…+22°C, and daytime temperatures to +23…+29°C, encouraging walks and outdoor trips. From the middle of the week, the situation will worsen: on June 12, short-term precipitation in the form of rain, with thunderstorms in some areas, is forecasted across almost the entire country, except for the western regions. This weather will not only affect mood but also road conditions — moisture and lightning could complicate travel. As for the wind, it will be quite brisk: northwesterly at speeds of 5-12 meters per second, adding to the overall atmospheric tension. Kyiv and its residents can still enjoy some more sunny weather: on June 10, there will be no precipitation, with temperatures at night around +12…+14°C, and during the day rising to +21°C. The wind will be northwest at 7-12 m/s, which will create a feeling of coolness. However, on June 11 and 12, short-term rain is expected in the capital. Night temperatures will drop to +12…+14°C, and daytime temperatures will rise to +19…+23°C. The wind will shift to southern and southwesterly at 7-12 m/s, which may cause weather fluctuations and require residents and tourists to adapt to sudden changes. Overall, throughout this week, almost the entire territory of Ukraine will experience a dual nature — gusty winds, brief downpours, and bright sunshine create a special atmosphere of shifting seasonal boundaries. Citizens should stay updated with weather forecasts to remain safe and comfortable, planning their activities and leisure according to the new weather realities.
