Over the past 24 hours, large-scale destructions and human casualties have been recorded once again in Kherson Region due to Russian attacks

According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, between June 7 and June 8, a civilian was killed as a result of enemy shelling and sabotage, and ten others were injured. This is already the third wave of massive shelling in the region over the past few days. The most tragic day was Saturday, when during another attack, one resident of Kherson Region was killed, and nine others sustained various degrees of injuries. According to local authorities, the infrastructure and residential buildings suffered significant damage. Around 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, Russian occupants used a drone to strike one of the residential neighborhoods of Antonivka. During the kamikaze drone attack, a moving vehicle in the area was hit, resulting in injuries to a 43-year-old man. He was transported to a medical facility after sustaining shrapnel wounds and mine-explosive trauma. Witnesses report that the injured person received leg wounds. His condition is currently assessed as stable, but medical personnel continue to provide necessary assistance. Regional authorities state that the targets of the Russian attacks were both critical and social infrastructure of the region. As a result of the strikes, three multi-story buildings and nine private houses were damaged. The occupants damaged a gas pipeline supplying several localities, and several private vehicles were destroyed by explosions. Local authorities emphasize that these actions by the Russians are aimed not only at causing fear and destruction but also at complicating the lives of peaceful residents, who have already been living in an active combat zone for a long time. During this difficult period, the people of Kherson and local officials call for maximum caution, adherence to safety recommendations, and mutual support.
