According to the National Police, as a result of enemy strikes, six civilians in the region were killed, and nearly 50 others were injured, many of whom are in serious condition. The enemy forces continue their vicious attacks cynically, employing a wide range of military equipment — from missiles and guided aerial bombs to drones and kamikaze munitions. During the nighttime and until the morning of June 7, the situation worsened even further. According to law enforcement sources, Russian occupiers launched a massive shelling involving cluster munitions, rockets, and "Geran-2" drones. These attacks primarily targeted residential areas of Kharkiv and nearby districts: Izyumskyi, Kharkivskyi, Chuhuivskyi, and Kupyansk. Hundreds of residents were threatened by these shellings, with hundreds of buildings damaged, and the compromised vehicle infrastructure causing additional chaos and problems for local residents. A particularly tragic attack was recorded in the morning, when civilian casualties were again reported. At this time, the Russians used cluster munitions and "Geran-2" drones to shell the city center. As a result of these actions, three people — a woman aged 59 and another woman aged 86, as well as a 32-year-old man — died on the spot, and another 22 individuals sustained various injuries. To make matters worse, in the evening, the enemy launched another missile strike targeting a children's railway in Kharkiv. This attack resulted in the death of a 30-year-old woman and injuries of varying severity to 18 others. A 63-year-old man who was wounded during the shelling later died in hospital. The destructive actions also affected the residential sector of the region. In Kozacha Lopan, one of the villages in the Kharkiv district, civilian infrastructure was hit. As a result of the shelling, a 73-year-old man was killed, and another resident, aged 46, was wounded. Medical personnel are providing assistance to the victims, but the death toll once again attests to the systematic and cynical nature of the occupiers' attacks. Another immediate consequence of the nighttime shelling was a drone falling in the village of Stary Saltiv, located near Kharkiv. Debris from the drone hit between a shop and a local church, damaging several buildings and injuring three civilians: women aged 46 and 50, and a 30-year-old man. Additionally, in Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, a 45-year-old man was wounded as a result of shelling with cluster munitions. Thus, the situation in the Kharkiv region remains tense and dangerous. Local residents are again facing destruction, loss of loved ones, and injuries. Authorities urge the population to be cautious and follow safety measures, as the occupiers continue their aggressive actions. Meanwhile, Ukrainian defenders persist in fighting for every meter of their sacred land, demanding an immediate cessation of enemy attacks and the return of peace to the region.
