Moreover, the enemy has advanced even closer to strategically important positions near Bilovodivka, Lokni, and Sadki, indicating ongoing tactical advances and deepening control over the occupied areas in this sector. This news is yet another indication of the deteriorating situation in northern Sumy. In early June, analysts reported the Russian occupation of settlements such as Andriivka and Vodolahy, which confirms a prolonged and escalating threat to local residents and Ukrainian military personnel operating in the region. Specifically, on June 3, there was news of the occupation of Kostyantynivka — another key strategic point in the northern part of the region, which is significant for controlling communication routes and defense. It is important to note that earlier, on the night of May 31 to June 1, the DeepState analytical team officially reported the capture of Volodymyrivka, a small but strategically important village located near the border. At the same time, Ukrainian State Border Guard Service spokesperson Andriy Demchenko stated during a telethon that the Russian army is intensifying its actions in Sumy region and seeks to expand its territories to gain more opportunities for further advances and control over key positions.
