The war continues to spare no one, taking innocent lives and disrupting the ordinary lives of residents in a region that has been on the brink of safety for years. According to official information received from the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, during the early hours of June 7, emergency services recorded three tragic incidents. Most distressing is that human casualties occurred in several settlements that once again found themselves under enemy fire. Specifically, in the village of Yablunivka, Illinivska hromada, in the northern part of the region, Russian shelling resulted in the deaths of two civilians. It is known that the shell hits damaged private residential buildings, and the lives of two people nearby were cut short by debris and injuries. This is yet another example of how war mercilessly destroys ordinary life and devastates entire families. Another tragedy involved an incident in the city of Kostiantynivka, where one more civilian was killed. Details of the incident are currently being clarified, but it is known that local emergency services recorded this unfortunate event as a consequence of another shelling by Russian forces. Additionally, in Pokrovsk, a civilian was wounded. Reports indicate that during another attack on the city, an enemy FPV drone damaged a utility structure. Such actions serve as a grim reminder of the tactical means of defense and attack employed by Russian troops, aimed at terrifying local residents, destroying their property, and creating an atmosphere of constant danger. If we look at previous days, June 6 saw an even higher number of casualties: on that day, Russians killed two residents in Pokrovsk and Mryhorod, and wounded nine others. Thus, the number of civilian victims in Donetsk Region remains high, indicating a long and brutal escalation of military actions. People in the region are patiently awaiting news about the situation, hoping for a swift end to hostilities and the return of peace. At the same time, daily shelling continues, claiming innocent lives, destroying towns, and spreading fear among residents. It is to be hoped that the war will end someday, and that these wounds and losses will not be forgotten but will become part of the painful history of Ukraine's struggle for freedom and independence. For now, however, the reality is horrific — the war has claimed the lives of over thirty civilians in Donetsk in just the past week, and human suffering persists.
