Russian military forces have once again turned to terror in the Dnipropetrovsk region, launching over thirty armed attacks within a single day

Chas Pravdy - 06 June 2025 18:16

According to the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, the enemy purposefully terrorized several districts of the region by using artillery, drones, and other armed equipment. Overall, in one day, the enemy carried out more than 30 shellings across three districts of the region: Nikopol, Marhanets, and Miriv, as well as in the Pokrovsk and Chervonohrihorivka communities. As a result of these attacks, a 50-year-old man was injured; he was promptly evacuated and provided with medical assistance. According to the official, his condition is satisfactory, and he will now be under outpatient supervision. Significant destruction was inflicted on residential and industrial facilities. Due to enemy actions, several enterprises, a market, and infrastructure objects were damaged, creating additional threatening pressure on the region’s economy. Particularly devastating was a multi-story building in Nikopol — a large fire broke out there, which had to be extinguished by firefighters. Additionally, two private homes, a minibus, and two cars were damaged by shrapnel. Furthermore, in the Novohrihorivka community of Synelnykove district, Russian occupiers used an FPV drone for an attack. As a result, dry grass in the area caught fire, but firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze and prevented it from spreading. The infrequent attacks do not reduce the tension in the region: local residents see the consequences of terror each day, and it is no longer possible to remain silent about the losses. The regional head calls on the population to stay vigilant, remain calm, and not succumb to panic, emphasizing that Ukrainian authorities and rescue services are working on recovery and regional protection. Overall, the situation in the Dnipropetrovsk region remains tense and unstable: each new day brings its challenges and damages. However, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold the line and do not allow the enemy any opportunity to feel in control of the situation, demonstrating indomitable will and determination in the fight for peaceful skies.
