There were also human casualties — it is reported that 17 civilians of various ages were injured in the attack, including a pregnant woman, children, and a 93-year-old grandmother. In his post, Sinegubov emphasized that the invading forces aimed to sow maximum fear and destruction, deliberately targeting residential areas. Photos from the scene show damaged facades of high-rise buildings, shattered windows, destroyed apartments, and wrecked vehicles. Further confirmation is the destruction of five multi-apartment buildings, damaged balconies, and destroyed interior spaces of residential complexes. "This has been yet another difficult and sleepless night for the residents of Kharkiv," commented the regional head. "The enemy’s strikes are not intended, at least, to harm civilians, but despite everything, we continue to demonstrate courage and solidarity in our efforts to protect our land and people." The night’s conditions were tense. On the night of June 5, multiple missile strikes targeted Kharkiv — including one district of the city — and drones attacked residential areas.
