Over the past day, Ukrainian military forces achieved significant and impactful gains on the battlefield, notably destroying more than 1,000 Russian occupiers and eliminating dozens of enemy artillery systems
These important accomplishments are reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, confirming the Ukrainian successes in the fight against the Russian invasion. During this period, Ukrainian defenders eliminated 1,020 invaders, significantly increasing the total enemy losses since the start of the war. According to the General Staff, Russia's overall combat losses from February 24, 2022, to June 4, 2025, amount to approximately 991,820 personnel. It is worth noting that this figure is constantly updated due to active fighting, and as of today, it shows an increase. Additionally, over the past day, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 88 artillery systems, substantially reducing the enemy's firepower at positions and in the rear. Considering the number of tanks, armored combat vehicles, drones, and other technical equipment destroyed, it can be concluded that Ukrainian forces are actively and purposefully counterattacking the occupiers and decreasing their ability to conduct automated combat operations. Every day, Ukrainian defenders achieve significant breakthroughs in enemy lines of defense, destroying equipment, supplies, and mobile enemy groups. According to official data, since the beginning of the war, Russia has lost nearly 11,084 tanks (+3 over the past day), over 22,678 armored combat vehicles (+7), about 28,711 artillery systems (+88), and more than 38,000 operational-tactical level drones (+176). A considerable number of losses also include automotive equipment with tankers, totaling over 50,730 units of transport vehicles since the start of hostilities (+123). Moreover, Russian forces have lost nearly 3,907 units of special equipment, complicating their logistical capabilities and reducing mobility on the flanks of the front. These figures confirm that Ukrainian military personnel are not only holding the frontline but also actively inflicting significant losses on the enemy in both equipment and personnel. This demonstrates the high combat readiness and resilience of the Ukrainian people and their armed forces in their fight for independence and territorial integrity.
