According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the tragedy occurred in the Dnipro District of the city as a result of a kamikaze drone attack. The official reported that a 49-year-old man, who was in his private yard, received fatal injuries after an explosive device was dropped from a drone. It is known that the shrapnel and blast wave from the drone caused deadly damage, which he could not survive. The head of the Regional Military Administration expressed his condolences to the victim's family and loved ones, emphasizing the extraordinary cruelty and cynicism of modern Russian tactics of terror. Overall, the situation in the region remained tense over the past day. Enemy forces deliberately targeted social infrastructure, residential areas, and critical infrastructure facilities within the region. According to official information, 34 settlements came under fire. The enemy shelling threatened residential neighborhoods: three multi-story buildings and ten private residences were damaged. Additionally, gas pipelines and an emergency medical service base were destroyed. As a result of the hostilities, eight people were injured, suffering various degrees of trauma. In general, the situation in Kherson Oblast remains extremely difficult. Enemy actions continue unabated: civilians are forced to constantly live under siege of fear and destruction. The local authorities urge not to ignore safety recommendations, as the danger persists, and each new shelling poses a real threat to the lives and health of residents.
