A new incident has occurred in the Kharkiv region, once again demonstrating the scale and danger of modern military methods employed by the Russian army in the war against Ukraine

According to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, on June 3, Russian occupiers carried out another strike using an FPV (First Person View) drone. This type of drone is primarily used for pinpoint attacks and espionage; however, in this case, it caused injuries to a civilian. According to the investigation, around 14:00 — a time when the village was usually calm — Russian drones struck the village, either intentionally or accidentally hitting near a tractor located nearby. As a result, a 28-year-old man was injured — his face and upper body sustained wounds from an explosive element dropped or detonation from the drone. The vehicle was significantly damaged, indicating the severity of the impact. Medical responders promptly reacted to the call and delivered the injured man to the nearest hospital. Preliminary information indicates that the patient's condition is of moderate severity: his life is not in danger, but medical staff are currently withholding more precise conclusions regarding the extent and nature of his injuries. This incident once again highlights the impunity and cynicism of Russian aggressors, who do not hesitate to use modern unmanned technologies to attack peaceful communities and infrastructure. They pose a risk to the population even in areas previously considered relatively safe. Local residents increasingly feel the brutality of the war — not only through shelling and missile strikes but also through the use of various modern technologies capable of harming anyone nearby. Law enforcement officials are now clarifying all circumstances of the incident, gathering evidence, and preparing documents for further investigation into the military aggression by the Russian Federation. Meanwhile, local authorities are urging residents to remain extremely cautious and to follow all safety measures in connection with possible new provocations by occupying forces. In this dangerous situation, it remains uncertain whether another shelling or attack will occur, so citizens must stay vigilant and follow the recommendations of authorities. This unfortunate case of a man being injured in Kharkiv region once again demonstrates that the war is evolving into new, even more brutal forms, and Ukraine must be prepared for any scenario, defending its citizens and territory from all manifestations of aggression.
