Ukrainians are warned about changing weather conditions: meteorologists forecast warm and multi-layered weather with short-term rains and thunderstorms that may affect different regions in the coming days
Such warnings become especially relevant ahead of June, when the meteorological situation in the country can vary significantly depending on the region. According to data from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, on Tuesday, June 3, a significant warm-up is expected, though with short-term rains and thunderstorms in the northern and western regions. At night, precipitation is primarily forecasted in the northwestern part of the country — specifically in Rivne, Volyn, Vinnytsia, and Zhytomyr regions. Heavy showers, thunderstorms, and even hail and gusts up to 20 meters per second are possible locally. This concerns mainly the nighttime period, while during the day, precipitation in these areas will decrease or cease altogether. Across the rest of the territory — in central, northern, and parts of western regions — the weather will remain dry, without rain. Winds will predominantly blow from the east and south at speeds of 7-12 meters per second, which will contribute to a feeling of warm and quite comfortable weather. Regarding temperature, at night, the air will warm to 13-18°C, while during the day, temperatures are expected to rise to 24-29°C. In the south and east of the country, temperatures may reach up to 32°C, whereas in western regions, nights will be considerably cooler — 19-24°C. The capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, on Tuesday, June 3, will experience such weather fluctuations: short-term rains and possibly thunderstorms at night, with no precipitation during the day. Winds from the south-west will blow at 7-12 m/s, with nighttime temperatures around 15-17°C and daytime temperatures around 26-28°C. On the following day, June 4, the weather situation will remain highly unstable. According to meteorologists, short-term rains and thunderstorms will occur at night in some northern and north-eastern regions, as well as in Cherkasy region. During the day, precipitation may develop in the east and southeast — with possible thunderstorm phenomena there as well. A variable wind is forecasted: from the south-west, transitioning to the north-west, at speeds of 7-12 m/s. As for the temperature on Wednesday, in western and northern regions, nighttime temperatures are expected to be 11-16°C, with daytime temperatures rising to 20-25°C. Throughout the rest of the country, temperatures will again increase — at night, 13-18°C, and during the day, possibly reaching 24-29°C, with the south and east seeing values up to 32°C. Therefore, despite the expected warm weather, Ukrainians should be prepared for short-term rains and thunderstorms. Meteorologists advise taking these changes into account when planning trips and ventilating rooms, as well as following weather updates to avoid unforeseen situations. It is important to remember that weather conditions will vary significantly across different regions, so it is advisable to be more responsible in preparations and avoid risky actions during thunderstorms and heavy rains.
