Four million lives under enemy fire: according to the United Operational Headquarters of Zaporizhzhia region, in the past 24 hours Russian forces carried out more than 590 shellings of regional territories, causing pain and destruction in an area that has once again become a battlefield epicenter, especially amid the ongoing front-line tension. According to the Regional Military Administration, as a result of enemy activities, five civilians were killed and nine others injured of varying severity. This alarming report was made by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia VA, in his official Telegram channel. The regional leader emphasized that within one minute, the Russian army fired 593 strikes on 16 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region, destroying or damaging homes, infrastructure, and private property of local residents. The largest enemy efforts were concentrated on the city of Zaporizhzhia, which was hit by a missile strike. In addition, Russians launched 12 air strikes on the settlements of Ternuvate, Kamyanske, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, and Kopani. This indicates active use of Russian aviation and missile systems aimed at destabilizing the situation in the region as much as possible. Drones also played a significant role — over 350 drones of various modifications, mainly FPV, were recorded in the areas of Zaporizhzhia, Lobkove, Kamyanske, Huliaipole, Shcherbakiv, Novodanylivka, Malatokmachka, as well as Charivne and Vassynivka. The enemy relied on drones to launch prolonged waves of attacks, trying to sow chaos and destroy critical infrastructure. Furthermore, Russian troops deployed multiple rocket launcher systems, shelling cities like Kamyanske, Novodarivka, Malatokmachka, and Luhivske with rockets and Grad rockets — a total of six strikes causing destruction and damage. These attacks resulted in additional destruction and human casualties. Another 223 artillery strikes targeted specific objects in Belenke, Lobkove, Kamyanske, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbakiv, Novodanylivka, Malatokmachka, Charivne, and Novodarivka. Unfortunately, these destructive actions led to damage to apartments, private houses, vehicles, and several critical infrastructure facilities. Local services have already recorded over fifty reports of damage to residential buildings, vehicles, and utilities. They remain under constant threat from enemy attacks, and the situation in the region remains tense and complex. Ukrainian defenders and local authorities urge residents to remain calm and follow safety recommendations, as the enemy continues to employ various tactics to intimidate and destroy. Moreover, the shelling remains unpredictable in terms of timing and targets, creating ongoing tension and fear among the population. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian military and rescue services are doing everything possible to protect the region and respond quickly to any emergencies. The region awaits new challenges, but Ukraine continues to hold its defense despite the fierce and relentless aggression from the east and south.
