In the morning, artillery shelling again erupted in the occupied city of Kherson, causing tragic consequences for local residents

According to official information released by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, on Telegram, and confirmed on the regional administration’s Facebook pages, enemy forces once again opened fire on residential areas of the Korabelnyi district of the city. As a result of this horrific attack, several people were injured. A local resident was killed during the shelling while he was outside — his injuries proved incompatible with life. The region has already expressed condolences to the families of the deceased. Emergency services transported a five-year-old boy to the hospital, who was wounded by a mine-explosive injury and suffered a concussion as a result of the shelling. The child is currently under medical supervision, his condition is considered stable, and doctors are making every effort to save him. According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the artillery fire was directly aimed at residential buildings. As a result, facades of apartments and private houses were damaged, roofs were destroyed, and windows shattered. This is yet another manifestation of the destructive actions of the Russian occupation forces on the peaceful population of the region, which continues to endure violence and fear due to ongoing shelling. The circumstances of this night are still being investigated, but one thing is clear — residents of the city have once again found themselves under fire, which causes not only significant material damage but also human tragedies. The strategy of terror by the Russian military in this region seems to have no limits — civilians have once again felt the full brutality of war, and their lives and safety are once more at risk. Witnesses and local officials emphasize the urgent need to stop the aggression as quickly as possible and to restore peace in Kherson region, where the peaceful population has long been in need of stability and protection from relentless war.
