According to the Odesa Regional Military Administration, private residential buildings and one infrastructure facility—a recreation base located in this area—were damaged as a result of the attack. The incident occurred at night when Russian drones or artillery struck the coastal territories. As a result, large fires broke out in local settlements and on private homesteads, quickly spreading to several sites. Initially, residents heard loud explosions and saw dark clouds of smoke rising into the night sky. According to regional authorities, the fire at the recreation base has already been completely extinguished thanks to the swift response of fire crews and rescuers. Regarding casualties: currently, there is no information about any victims or serious injuries. People have been evacuated from dangerous areas or are temporarily safe. The authorities still need to assess the extent of the damage and determine the specific targets of the Russian strikes. Preliminary reports suggest that, since the attack took place at night, human casualties were likely avoided. Official officials, including representatives of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, addressed residents, urging them to stay alert and follow safety recommendations. They emphasize that the situation remains tense and the threat of new missile or artillery attacks remains high. Overall, these hostile actions once again confirm that Odesa region continues to be at risk due to Russia's invasion. Local authorities and security services are working to ensure the safety of the population, strengthening defensive measures and responding swiftly to potential new threats. Currently, all support services continue to monitor the situation and prepare for possible further challenges. Ukrainian forces and the local population are committed to restoring and defending their territories, despite ongoing provocations from the aggressor.
