The military law enforcement service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been tasked with thoroughly clarifying the circumstances of the incident in the city on Khmelnytskyi region, which caused outrage and concern among the leadership of the defense department. According to information obtained from official sources at the Khmelnytskyi Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center, a group of approximately 100 people gathered at the scene and blocked the passage of the service vehicle of the mobile notification group. It is reported that the actions of the citizens were quite coordinated and organized: they not only blocked the road but also damaged the vehicle — in particular, they punctured the tires by slashing them. As a result, several military personnel and civilians were injured, and the service vehicle itself sustained serious damage, complicating the execution of tasks related to mobilization and information operations. An official explanation from the military law enforcement agency is based on the assessment that the actions of the protesters constitute interference with the lawful activities of the TCC and Social Support. According to military sources, the actions of the citizens showed signs of organized resistance to the performance of officers’ duties, which is a serious violation of the law. As part of the investigation, besides the injuries sustained by military and civilian individuals, all circumstances of the incident are to be established — who exactly opposed the mobile notification service and with what motives, as well as how the service was ultimately disrupted. This is particularly important for all units and the civilian population, given the critical nature of this communication. The commander reminded that the situation requires a thorough investigation to fully determine the causes and provoking factors of the conflict. Accordingly, officers have received a specific assignment — to conduct an official inquiry to establish the circumstances that led to such aggression and to evaluate the responsibility of each side. The goal of this work is to prevent similar incidents in the future, strengthen security systems, and prevent potential threats to both military personnel and civilians. A final decision on this matter will be made later, but it is clear that this incident serves as another signal about the need to enhance attention to order adherence and the safety of Armed Forces personnel, who perform vital functions in the context of mobilization and national defense. Meanwhile, against the backdrop of rising tensions in the region and increased public attention, the leadership of the Armed Forces is making every effort to clarify the truth and develop appropriate measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
