" This incident occurred overnight from May 30 to May 31 and serves as a testimony to the brutal aggression of Russian drones against the civilian population and infrastructure objects in the region. According to the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) in Odesa Region, early evening and during the night of May 30, the region was attacked by drones, resulting in a large fire and the complete destruction of the postal branch. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries in this attack. However, the consequences of the destruction were significant: the entire technical complex of the postal office was burned and destroyed, and nearby trucks sustained substantial damage due to explosions and fire. Rescue services reported that the fire spread over an area of approximately 300 square meters. Through joint efforts of SES firefighters and units of the National Guard of Ukraine, the fire was extinguished and further spread was prevented. In total, two units of specialized equipment and a team of eight rescuers from SES were involved, as well as another piece of equipment and five National Guard servicemen, who acted to ensure safety and stabilize the situation. This incident further confirms the growing danger posed by Russian aggression to the peaceful residents of Odesa and regional infrastructure objects. Authorities and law enforcement agencies are actively responding to the situation, but drone attacks remain one of the most challenging problems during this war. Local residents feel tension and fear, as each new attack not only destroys property but also undermines people's psychological resilience. It is evident that the destruction of postal branches, especially such large and important logistics centers, has strategic significance for the region's and the country's overall logistics system. Authorities call on residents to be cautious, while law enforcement agencies are working to strengthen security systems and counter enemy attacks in order to minimize the consequences of such actions and restore stability in southern Ukraine more quickly.
