In the Kharkiv region, Russian drones have once again carried out a missile strike: at least eight residents were injured in the village of Vasyliv Khutir, including two teenagers

During the night from May 29 to May 30, the situation in the Kharkiv region worsened once again when Russian unmanned devices launched a massive attack on the civilian population. According to Oleg Synyehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, as a result of the enemy strike on Vasyliv Khutir, which is part of the Chuhuiv community, at least eight people were injured, including two teenagers aged just 16. This serves as a stark reminder of the persistent danger posed by Russian drones to residents of the region, and that the civilian population remains under constant threat. According to the administrator’s statement, a whole group of strike drones attacked the village, likely involved in another large-scale operation by occupying forces. As of now, information is available about the condition of eight injured individuals, who sustained wounds of varying severity. Particularly concerning is the report of two 16-year-old teenagers who were hurt during the nighttime attack — their condition is currently being clarified, but it is already known that the children were struck. Prehistory of this tragedy indicates that Kharkiv region has been targeted repeatedly with drone attacks. On the night of May 30, the region was once again subjected to massive Russian drone assaults. Preliminary data reports at least eight drones that hit the Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv city, destroying one municipal facility, damaging infrastructure, and causing panic among local residents. This new attack is yet another tense episode in a series of ongoing Russian strikes against Kharkiv region, which has long been one of the most affected territories in Ukraine during the Russian aggression. Local residents, medical personnel, and rescue services continue working intensively, trying to eliminate the consequences of the destruction and provide assistance to the injured as quickly as possible. The significance of this event also lies in the fact that drone attacks considerably complicate the situation in the region — both military and civilian populations face a constant threat of destruction, injury, and even loss of life. The President of Ukraine and local authorities have repeatedly emphasized the need to strengthen air defense and reduce the impact of Russian hostile operations. At the same time, every new case confirms that the war continues and is only interrupted for short periods. Despite fear and uncertainty, local residents continue to fight for peace and quiet in their homes, hoping for further support from the state and the international community. Ukraine remains committed to its goal — to protect its citizens, restore peace, and ensure safety for the future.
