On the night of May 29, the Dnipropetrovsk region was once again targeted by enemy fire. According to official information from the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, Russian troops continue their terrorist attacks, using heavy artillery and drones. These cowardly attacks caused serious human and material damage, leaving injured civilians and destroying property. According to the regional head, as a result of strikes on several communities in the region, including Nikopol, Pokrovsk, Marhanets, and Mirovsk, three people were wounded. Among them is a 61-year-old man who was injured by enemy shells during the attack. The strikes damaged three private residential buildings and destroyed 30 solar panels, which indicates the destructive nature of the shelling on vital infrastructure. The head of the OVA also added that the enemy forces used cluster munitions in the Novopavlivka community, part of the Synelnykove district. This resulted in two more civilians injured and the destruction of one private house, as well as damage to two other residential structures. These actions confirm the cynical and deliberate aggression that Russian military forces are waging against the peaceful population of the region. Regional authorities urge residents to stay safe and remain vigilant, as the threat of shelling remains high. Due to the increasing number of attacks, local authorities and defense services continue to implement all necessary measures to minimize consequences and protect citizens. The situation is reported not only by local media but also by international institutions monitoring compliance with international law, condemning such attacks which pose a serious threat to the security of Ukraine and the entire region. The city and villages of the region have once again come under attack, further highlighting Russia’s ongoing aggressive policy against peaceful Ukrainian citizens. In these difficult times, it is crucial to unite efforts to ensure safety and support the victims, as well as to increase international pressure to stop military actions against Ukraine.
