Information about the incident is spreading on social media and Telegram channels, citing local residents and official sources. According to Russian Telegram channels Astra and Baza, as well as a reference to Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin and a blogger, drones once again took to the skies over the Moscow suburb, which is renowned for its research institutions and is one of the centers of high-tech developments. In the videos posted online, several unmanned aerial vehicles can be seen flying in the sky, and footage also captures the moment of impact and the subsequent fire caused by their attack. Reports indicate that local residents have clear evidence that they were once again targeted at "Kronshtadt." This is the name of the enterprise involved in the development and production of unmanned systems and aviation equipment. The mentioned enterprise is the KronShtadt Science and Production Complex, located in Dubna — one of the centers of high-tech research and manufacturing of unmanned aircraft, often called a "science city," as it hosts cutting-edge projects in aviation technology and unmanned systems for military and civilian purposes. The plant is known for creating modern unmanned aerial vehicles, including aviation technology capable of performing various complex tasks. As reported by the official source — Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin — he activated information alerts in his social networks early on May 28. According to him, the air defense forces managed to shoot down at least 31 drones attempting to enter the airspace of the Russian capital. An attack on Zelenograd — another significant district of the city — was also repelled. Sobyanin assured that the situation in the city and its surroundings — both in Zelenograd and central Moscow — is currently under control, and no serious damage or casualties have been recorded. At the same time, relevant services are working at the crash sites to reduce the risk of new incidents and to carry out necessary damage assessment measures. The Moscow city administration emphasizes that the situation is under control, but the activity of unmanned aerial vehicles amid increasing military conflicts raises concerns about security and further actions in the region. The city of Dubna, which has unofficially earned the status of a "science city," is located approximately 121 kilometers north of Moscow and is one of Russia’s main centers for scientific research and high-tech development. Leading designers and engineers in aviation technology and unmanned systems work here, leading to the widespread belief that key developments are carried out somewhere in this area — potentially targeted by external attacks. Following recent events in the region, there has been a surge of discussions regarding the security of strategic facilities and their potential protection from future drone attacks. Currently, the situation remains under control, but military experts and authorities assure that additional measures will be taken to strengthen defenses and prevent further incidents at this crucial industrial and research site.
