Enemy drone strike in the Kharkiv region claimed the lives and health of several civilians

On the night of May 28, Kharkiv oblast was once again subjected to a cynical targeted enemy attack — this time using unmanned aerial vehicles. As a result of the attack, eight civilians in the region were injured, including an innocent four-year-old child. This was reported by Oleksiy Sinegubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, who officially confirmed information about the consequences of the enemy shelling. According to the regional leader, the main strike was recorded in several settlements in the region, particularly in the village of Vasiivske in the Kharkiv district, where several adult men were injured — aged 51, 43, and 59. Additionally, a young girl, 4 years old, was wounded in this area; she experienced a severe stress reaction and requires additional medical assistance. She is currently under medical supervision. Another epicenter of the attack was the village of Eskhar in the Chuhuiv district. During the shelling, several elderly people were injured: a 63-year-old man, an 80-year-old man, as well as a 63-year-old woman and a 71-year-old woman. Fortunately, none of them were seriously wounded, but all injured persons were transported to medical facilities for treatment and assessment. What preceded this tragic night? According to sources, early on May 28, a series of loud explosions was recorded in Kharkiv, audible in the city and nearby districts. Witnesses described the noise as a series of deep and alarming deafening sounds. Currently, it has been confirmed that the attack was carried out using UAVs, which actively attempted to demonstrate their presence and strike infrastructure or military targets. Local authorities are urging residents to be cautious, follow safety rules, and evacuation instructions. Officially, the information about the objective consequences of the attack is being clarified, but it is already known that several people were wounded of varying severity, and one of them — a child — experienced severe stress and may require psychological support. The situation remains tense, and enemy actions in the Kharkiv region confirm ongoing aggression from the enemy, who is deliberately targeting civilians. The local authorities are increasing security measures, and relevant services are working to clarify all details of this nighttime attack and assess the extent of the damage. Residents of the region are urged to stay alert and seek assistance if necessary, as any shelling poses a threat to the lives and health of civilians. The authorities promise to make every effort to restore security and provide further assistance to those affected in these challenging times.
