According to the head of the regional military administration, Andrii Raikovych, this assault resulted in several consequences and caused serious concern among local authorities and residents. The raid by Russian forces caused a large fire at one of the city’s industrial enterprises. The firefighting efforts are currently ongoing, Raikovych reported, assuring that the situation has been brought under control. Nevertheless, the attack left alarming aftermaths: three local residents were wounded and urgently hospitalized. Details about the severity of their injuries are not yet specified, but it is quite evident that this act of destruction is yet another argument for strengthening defensive measures in the region. Additionally, the shelling affected not only industrial objects but also residential areas. As a result of the missile attack, 76 private houses and one nine-story residential building, which was either completely destroyed or heavily damaged, were damaged. Local emergency services are working around the clock to provide aid to those affected and to assess the extent of the destruction. According to Andrii Raikovych, all responsible agencies—firefighters, medical personnel, law enforcement, and utilities—are actively working at the scene. Their tasks are not only to eliminate the aftermath of the attack but also to clarify the exact circumstances of the incident, prevent further destruction, and investigate the case. Local authorities once again call on residents to follow safety rules and exercise caution during this difficult time for the region. This repetition underscores the cynicism and purposefulness of Russian aggression, which mercilessly destroys infrastructure and the homes of peaceful citizens, demonstrating its readiness to strike even at industrial facilities that are a vital part of the region’s economy. The local authorities and security services are making every effort to stabilize the situation and prevent further escalation of tension. The residents of the region hope for a swift recovery and a safe return to normal life in these challenging times.
