This occurred on May 27 in various villages and districts of the region, causing alarm and widespread destruction across the area. According to Serhii Lysak, head of the Regional Military Administration, several explosions were reported overnight in the communities of Mezhivska and Malomykhailivska in the Synelnykove district. Due to the drone assault of various models, an agricultural enterprise was destroyed nearby, and several private houses and vehicles were damaged. A 54-year-old resident of the district was particularly affected; he was hospitalized in serious condition. That same night, an attack also took place in the Samariivskyi district, where a private house and an outbuilding were damaged by enemy strikes. According to witnesses, outbuildings also caught fire in this area, indicating targeted actions by Russian forces in the region. One person was wounded during this attack. Enemy strikes also affected the Nikopol district. According to information from domestic military sources, the occupiers used artillery, deployed FPV drones for dropping munitions, and conducted airborne sabotage operations. As a result, several infrastructure facilities were damaged, including an ambulance, which lost its vehicle, and a private car traveling nearby. Serhii Lysak stated that the region’s air defense successfully intercepted five UAVs that attempted to breach the regional airspace yesterday. This once again demonstrates the high level of protection and the ability to respond swiftly to enemy threats. The situation in the region remains tense, with ongoing monitoring by military and law enforcement authorities. Residents are urged to be cautious and adhere to safety rules, as the threat from the Russian aggressor remains high. Authorities are taking all necessary measures to protect residents’ lives and property, as well as to restore the damaged infrastructure.
