As a result of Russian aggression, terrible consequences were recorded in Kramatorsk: four residents, including a six-year-old child, were wounded during the morning shelling

This news is confirmed by data from the Donetsk Prosecutor's Office, which indicates that enemy forces launched at least three missile strikes on residential areas of the city, causing destruction and human suffering. According to official information, the attack occurred on the evening of May 26 around 23:17, when Russian occupiers used FAB-250 aerial bombs with an UMPK glide module. Additionally, one of the projectiles struck near multi-storey buildings in the central part of the city, resulting in significant damage to residential structures and widespread panic among local residents. Officials from the prosecutor's office stated that during the shelling, people were in an apartment: in particular, a 36-year-old man, his 33-year-old wife, and their daughter, who is only eight years old and has witnessed the horror of war. Also, a 23-year-old local woman sustained bodily injuries. All victims are currently in the hospital and have received medical assistance. The preliminary diagnosis includes explosive trauma and concussion. The effects of the shelling are evident: at least 13 private and multi-storey buildings were damaged, several cars parked nearby the impact sites were destroyed. This was one of the most extensive attacks on Donetsk region cities in recent times. Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Article 438 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code, which provides for responsibility for a war crime—violations of the laws and customs of war—in relation to harm to civilians and destruction. This is not the only brutal event in the country's wartime chronicle. Just days earlier, on May 27, Russian occupiers carried out an airstrike on civilian infrastructure in the Ohtyrka community in Sumy region. As a result of this attack, four residents were injured: a 44-year-old man, his 41-year-old wife, and their 17-year-old daughter. The people suffered injuries of varying severity, and the affected areas were again targeted by fire, confirming the deliberate and cynical nature of Russia's unlawful military actions. These alarming events attest that the war in Ukraine continues with increasing brutality and destruction for the civilian population. Local authorities and law enforcement agencies are working to establish all circumstances, document the crimes, and prepare to hold the responsible parties accountable in accordance with Ukrainian and international law. Residents will never forget that last strike, or this war in general.
