Russian occupiers have struck again in the Dnipropetrovsk region, causing widespread chaos and destruction

In the night of May 26, terrorists deployed various types of weapons to attack the region, which has repeatedly fallen victim to their assaults. Preliminary reports indicate that residential houses, vehicles were damaged, and a powerful fire broke out, which rescuers had to promptly extinguish. The information was provided by the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, who reported on the events via his Telegram channel. According to him, the attack was planned and carried out using different types of weaponry, including the "Grad" rocket artillery systems, traditional artillery, and the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). "As a result of the attack in the Kamianske district, a fire broke out, which fire crews were able to extinguish promptly. At the same time, during the strikes on Nikopol, the occupiers used MLRS, artillery, and UAVs, deliberately targeting the cities of Nikopol and Marganets. Several multi-apartment and private residential buildings, along with vehicles, were damaged," Lysak stated. Fortunately, no casualties among the local residents were reported during the attacks. Photos from the scene have already appeared online, showing the destruction and the panic caused among the population. At the same time, Russian occupiers did not limit their attacks to just the Nikopol direction — they also targeted the Malokhivka community in the Sinelnykove district, using FPV drones. As a result of these strikes, two private homes were damaged, creating additional negative resonance within the community. The head of the regional administration also reported the destruction of three drones over Dnipropetrovsk region. "Thanks to our defenders, during the night, the number of enemy UAVs was reduced — three were destroyed," summed up Serhiy Lysak, expressing gratitude to the military for their efforts and ability to defend the region. This night attack once again underscores how tense and dangerous the situation remains in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Despite the efforts of defense forces and rescue services, destruction and tension continue to pose significant challenges for the local population. Ukrainian defenders demonstrate courage and resilience, but the damage inflicted by the enemy remains a reminder of the ongoing and arduous fight for peace and security in the region.
