Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have once again demonstrated their effectiveness and high level of combat readiness

According to the General Staff of Ukraine, Ukrainian defenders successfully eliminated more than a thousand enemy occupiers, further emphasizing the ongoing trend of decreasing enemy manpower on key front lines. Additionally, Ukrainian military personnel inflicted significant losses on Russian army equipment and weapons, notably targeting command nodes and ammunition depots. According to official data on the Facebook page of the General Staff, for the specified period, Ukrainian command has calculated the enemy’s total losses from February 24, 2022, to May 26, 2023. The total combat losses of the occupiers are estimated at approximately 981,850 personnel — with an increase of another thousand over the past day. This once again confirms the high level of Ukrainian efforts to eliminate enemy personnel. Regarding equipment and armaments, it is clear that the Russians are losing various categories of military hardware. The list of destroyed weapons includes tanks — over 10,858 Russian vehicles, with 4 more destroyed in the last day. It’s easy to imagine the total amount of equipment destroyed by Ukrainian defenders throughout the course of the hostilities. In addition to tanks, the Russian army has lost over 22,641 armored combat vehicles, covering multiple fronts. Over the past day, the military has added 8 more units to the destroyed firepower statistics. This clearly indicates systematic efforts to close breaches and destroy enemy logistics chains. Artillery systems are also involved in the combat. Since February 24, 2022, nearly 28,320 such weapons have been destroyed or damaged by the Russians, including another 51 units over the last day. Moreover, the enemy has lost over 1,397 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), with one fewer recorded today. Other assets lost include air defense systems. During the course of the fighting, Ukrainian defenders have destroyed over 1,171 air defense systems, with two more units added in the past day. This underscores the intensity of air defense battles and the constant threat from the sky. The aviation component is no less significant. According to the General Staff, approximately 37,631 operational-tactical drones (UAVs) have been recorded, with another 264 destroyed in the past day. This again confirms the high level of Ukrainian countermeasures against unmanned aerial vehicles. Russia is also losing a substantial number of cruise missiles used in strategic strikes. Over the given period, more than 3,256 missiles have been destroyed, including 53 in the last day. This level of destruction significantly impacts enemy logistics and combat capability. Concerning automotive equipment and transport vehicles, the enemy has lost over 49,843 units over the years of the conflict. In the past day alone, Ukrainian forces destroyed another 92 tankers and other specialized vehicles, which hampers the mobility and logistics of the occupation forces. While the overall figures are still being refined, it is already clear that Ukrainian defenders repeatedly demonstrate resilience and the ability to systematically destroy the resource and human potential of the enemy. This confirms the high combat effectiveness of our troops and the unwavering support of the international community, which observes this intense process in real time. Russia’s losses not only exacerbate the imbalance of forces on the battlefield but also further push it to seek new resources and strategic solutions amid ongoing aggression in Ukraine.
