On the temporarily occupied southern part of Ukraine, in the village of Komyshany, located near Kherson, a new episode of a destructive Russian aviation attack occurred
The leadership of the Kherson Regional Military Administration reported the incident on social media, noting that at 15:50 on Monday, a Russian drone dropped explosives on a car traveling in the area. As a result of this attack, two children who were nearby were injured. According to official information, the boys aged 7 and 15 suffered serious injuries from the blast, including shrapnel wounds, concussions, and a traumatic brain injury. The older brother also sustained a head wound, further complicating his condition. Both victims were quickly transported to the nearest medical facility, where they are receiving professional care. This is not the first case of civilians being put in danger due to actions by Russian occupiers, who are using unmanned aerial vehicles to carry out attacks. It is also worth recalling that on May 23, Russian drones targeted and attacked a resident of Kherson. Unfortunately, the man was wounded and later died from his injuries. These incidents highlight the ongoing threat to civilians in the temporarily occupied territories and underscore the need to strengthen the protection of peaceful residents. Local authorities are urging the population to remain cautious and to follow official updates regarding the security situation. Ukrainian military and law enforcement agencies continue their work to identify and neutralize threats arising from the ongoing hostilities in the southern regions of the country. At the same time, these incidents once again emphasize the importance of international community support in countering Russian aggression and the necessity of providing weapons and resources for more effective protection of the Ukrainian population.
