According to the official information announced by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, the situation on the front remains tense and is actively developing along a сценарий that does not promise a quick end to the war

According to the head of state, the country's intelligence does not record any decrease in Russian military activity; on the contrary — the Kremlin is preparing for new aggressive offensive operations, which indicates Russia's intention to continue and escalate the scale of military actions. Zelensky made this statement during his daily address to the Ukrainian people on May 26, emphasizing the importance of the obtained data and proving that, at present, there are no signs of Russia returning to diplomatic negotiations or having serious intentions to achieve peace. "Today I held a meeting at the Headquarters, — he noted. — The intelligence reports were very thorough. They concern not only the general situation, but also the capabilities of Russian troops, their industrial complex, as well as our possibilities to pressure Russia and stop its aggression. From what is currently evident in open sources and from intelligence data, it is clear: Putin's command does not intend to end the war. There is no evidence that Russia is seriously considering peace options, and conversely — there is much evidence that the country is preparing for new aggressive actions, new offensive operations." The leader of the country expressed confidence that the Kremlin is solely interested in continuing the conflict and demonstrates an open disregard for international attempts to resolve the situation diplomatically. "This is an outright contemptuous position towards all those who seek peace, who make efforts for diplomatic settlement, — Zelensky emphasized. — According to all data, Russia is solely guided by military interests and the desire to impose its will through force." The head of state stressed that not only Ukrainian intelligence agencies possess this information, but also our partner countries collaborating in intelligence. They have also obtained proof of the Kremlin's active plans and can clearly see that Russia does not intend to make compromises or agreements. "Together with our allies, we are convinced that it is important not to close our eyes to this reality, — Zelensky highlighted. — It is necessary to transfer this information to the international community's leadership, emphasize the possible threats, and act proactively to prevent even more extensive consequences of the war." Thus, the main thesis of the Ukrainian president is that, at the moment, aggression and a warlike readiness prevail on the front from Russia, and statements about the possibility of ending this war and achieving peace are unfounded. Zelensky calls on the global community to pay special attention to this situation, act cautiously, and remain vigilant regarding potential new military scenarios from the Kremlin.
