The Kremlin reports that Ukrainian drones have once again successfully caught Vladimir Putin in a dangerous zone

According to them, during his stay in the Kursk region, a virtuoso operation by Ukrainian Armed Forces drones forced Russian troops to urgently activate air defenses. Official sources state that the conflict unfolded around a special operation, which the regional defense team led by Anti-Aircraft Division Commander Yuriy Dashkin calls a "large-scale attack." He explains that during Putin's visit to the region, recorded on May 20, Ukrainian forces launched numerous drones — some estimates suggest up to 50 devices simultaneously. The occupiers claim that as a result of these efforts, they managed to shoot down about 46 drones, indicating a serious threat. Dashkin emphasizes: "We simultaneously conducted an anti-aircraft fight and ensured the safe aerial escort of the president's helicopter. He was practically in the epicenter of the drone attack, which was attempting to breach our defense." According to him, this incident demonstrated the increasing tactical cunning of Ukrainian attackers, proving that Ukrainian unmanned reconnaissance and countermeasures are truly effective in targeting objectives even under the most challenging conditions. It is worth noting that Russian media have already labeled this incident as a "sign of a new escalation" in the ongoing military actions on the border. They highlight that drone attacks have recently become more frequent, and their tactics are becoming increasingly varied and complex to defend against. In Russia, it is emphasized that this indicates Ukrainian forces are capable not only of striking strategic targets but also of employing new tactical maneuvers aimed at surprising and exhausting the Russian defenses. This event once again underscores the tense situation on the Ukrainian-Russian front and demonstrates how Ukrainian strategy is intensifying in the struggle against Russian aggression. Meanwhile, in the Kremlin, they recall that drone technologies and their countermeasures are becoming one of the main components of modern warfare, keeping Russian troops in a constant state of readiness and alert.
