The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published a summary as of Sunday evening, detailing the situation on the front lines over the past day
Based on information received from operational and press centers, it can be concluded that Russian troops actively continue their aggression against Ukrainian positions, conducting large-scale attacks and employing various types of weaponry in order to steadily reduce the resistance of Ukrainian defenders. Over the past 24 hours, more than 135 battles and clashes have taken place on the front — a clear indication that the country remains under constant fire. Of particular activity was the Russian forces on the Pokrovsk direction, where 40 attacks were recorded. The enemy attempted to break through the Ukrainian defenses in the areas of Khotliarivka, Malynivka, Lysivka, Udažne, Zvirove, Troitske, Yelyzavetivka, Andriivka, as well as in the directions of Shchenka Pershyi, Zora, Muravka, Oleksiivka, and Myrolubivka. All these battles are ongoing, including three separate skirmishes that have not yet concluded. The Russian forces employed aviation, dropping guided bombs on the settlements of Dovha Balka, Oleksandro-Kalinove, and Stepanivka. Meanwhile, Ukrainian soldiers achieved significant combat results: over the past day, 159 invaders have been neutralized, including 95 — definitively, meaning destroyed on the battlefield or as a result of other efforts by Ukrainian defense forces. On the Kursk direction, the situation remained tense. The enemy conducted 24 assaults on Ukrainian positions and again used aviation — executing 14 airstrikes with 25 guided bombs. Additionally, the enemy carried out over 200 artillery shellings, 13 of which involved multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). Enemy losses in this sector continue to grow, but Ukrainian defenders successfully repel their attacks, preventing enemy advances and damage to strategic targets. On the Lyman direction, Russian occupiers intensified their activity from the morning, conducting 19 attacks against Ukrainian positions in the areas of Ridkodub, Zelena Dolyna, Novyi Mir, Hrekiivka, Lypove, and Torsk. According to the General Staff, Ukrainian soldiers are now repelling at least four enemy attacks, including in the Ridkodub area. It is worth noting that the enemy used unguided rockets against the settlement of Novopil, which also indicates an escalation of their offensive operations. Cities and villages on the eastern and southern frontiers, including Novopavlivka, Toretsk, Orikhiv, Kharkiv, Kupiansk, and others, remain under constant attack. For example, in the Toretsk direction, 10 assaults have been recorded, including in the areas of Toretsk, Romainivka, Dilyiivka, and near Novospasske, demonstrating the enemy's targeted tactics aimed at encirclement and destruction of Ukrainian defensive lines. The enemy attempted to advance near the settlements of Nvoandriivka and Stepove, using aviation and artillery. In the east, particularly in the Kramatorsk sector, fierce fighting continues. There have been seven clashes in the areas of Predtecha, Bila Hora, and near Chasiv Yar. One of these battles is still ongoing, highlighting the high level of complexity in Ukraine’s counteroffensive and the enemy’s increased activity in this sector. In the south, in the region of Orikhiv, the enemy has intensified actions, conducting five attacks near the settlements of Novoandriivka and Stepove. Ukrainian forces successfully stopped several attempts by the enemy to advance toward Hryhorivka, Bilhorivka, and Verkhniokamianske. Regarding aviation activity, the enemy launched unguided rockets at the cities of Mala Tockmaka and Kamianske, causing destruction and creating new threats to civilians. On the Kharkiv direction, the enemy conducted four attacks near Vovchansk, Stroiivka, and Krasne Pershe, but Ukrainian defenders heroically repelled these assaults and prevented enemy advances. Additionally, two assaults were recorded in the Kupiansk sector in the areas of Kruhlyakivka and Novokruhlyakivka, where our soldiers managed to halt the enemy’s progress. Three battles in this line are still ongoing. Overall, the situation remains challenging and tense. Ukrainian defense forces demonstrate perseverance and high professionalism in preventing enemy advances, destroying equipment and enemy personnel. Despite significant pressure and the use of modern Russian military equipment, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold strategic positions and maintain control over key directions. Soldiers remain prepared for any scenarios, and the level of combat readiness and patriotism remains high, providing reason for hope in further sustaining the country’s defensive resilience.
