As a result of a nighttime attack by Russian forces, the number of casualties has significantly increased, reaching 33 people, including seven children. This was confirmed by the head of Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnik, in a post on his Facebook page, noting that the situation is under control and all those affected are receiving necessary medical assistance. According to the regional leader, the condition of seven of the casualties is assessed as satisfactory; they have minor injuries and have already received the necessary treatment. Another 12 individuals are with moderate injuries, and they are also receiving appropriate medical support in regional healthcare facilities. Currently, there is no threat to the lives of any of the injured, which brings some relief, but the situation remains tense. At the same time, during this missile strike, the village of Makariv was particularly affected, where 39 private houses were damaged or destroyed. Details of the destruction indicate the scale of the night attack and its devastating impact on peaceful households. Preliminary assessments suggest that the extent of damage in the region is significant, and the situation requires discussions on further measures to enhance safety and protect local residents. Earlier reports indicated that, as a result of a massive airstrike carried out by Russian forces on the night of May 25, four people were killed and 29 others wounded of various degrees of severity. The entire region was covered by a widespread trail of destruction — damages were recorded in four districts, increasing the level of alertness and the need for additional security measures. Authorities emphasize the importance of civilian readiness for any possible scenarios and recommend following safety guidelines during air raid alerts.
