The tragedy was reported by Oleksii Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, on his Facebook page. According to him, on Sunday, the day before, Russian militants used artillery to shell the village. The aftermath was horrifying: a 48-year-old local resident died during the attack, and another man, 52 years old, was wounded and is currently under medical supervision. "Today, Russian troops shelled the village of Kindrativka in the Khotinskyh community with artillery," Hryhorov stated on social media. "As a result of the attack, unfortunately, a 48-year-old local resident died. Another civilian — a 52-year-old man — was wounded. He has already received first aid, but due to the constant threat of renewed shelling, it is currently impossible to bring him to a hospital for further treatment. Once the situation becomes safer, he will be evacuated to a medical facility." Witnesses and local residents note that the consequences of these attacks destroy not only buildings and infrastructure but also break the peace and stability in the small village. Daily shelling and assaults by Russian forces keep people in a state of anxiety and uncertainty, confining them within a cycle of fears and worries.
