The residents of the building were promptly evacuated, with 210 people evacuated in total. During the rescue operation, two women were rescued from the rubble — one of them was hospitalized in a condition of moderate severity, and the other received psychological assistance. Psychologists are working with the trauma victims to minimize the psychological impacts of this tragedy. Two floors of the residential complex were completely destroyed, and three others were partially damaged. The blast caused walls to partially tilt, ceilings to collapse, and living conditions for residents to become more difficult. Several rescue, police, and medical teams are working on the scene. Preliminary reports suggest that the cause of this attack was another so-called "business" sabotage aimed at destabilizing the region. Mykolaiv is constantly under fire from Russian military strikes on Ukrainian cities, including the use of kamikaze drones and missiles. Previously, Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration head Vitaliy Kim reported two injuries from last year's missile and drone attacks. This tragedy once again highlights the difficult and dangerous situation faced by city residents and underscores the urgent need for increased defense measures and support from the government and international partners.
