One of the consequences of this prolonged assault was an incident in a shelter in the Podilskyi district of the city, where a man attempted to commit suicide. Kyiv police reported this tragic incident, confirming the information to "Ukrainian Pravda" and "Suspline". According to law enforcement, the victim was hospitalized and is currently under medical supervision in the hospital. Sources within law enforcement agencies stated that a 20-year-old Kyiv resident, born in 2003, was in an operating room during his attempted suicide. The motives behind this act are currently being determined; specialists are working to establish the circumstances and the psychological state of the young man. At the moment, the reasons for his actions remain unknown, but it is possible that they were related to psychological trauma and stress caused by prolonged missile attacks and feelings of helplessness amid the war. This incident was one of several consequences of another Russian attack, which took place around 2 a.m. During the night, Kyiv was once again covered by a fierce wave of shelling: combat drones and ballistic missiles relentlessly filled the sky, penetrating the air defense system. As a result of this attack, at least 15 people were injured, and residential buildings in the Dniprovskyi, Solomianskyi, and Obolonskyi districts were damaged by fire and shrapnel, with several blocks destroyed and power outages in their areas. Overall, the nighttime shelling once again highlighted the complexity and danger faced by the Ukrainian city during such large-scale attacks. Local authorities urged residents to stay in shelters during alarms, while emergency services are urgently working to eliminate the consequences and ensure the safety of citizens. At the same time, law enforcement and psychologists are working diligently to analyze the situation and provide necessary support to those affected. These events merely confirm the traumatic impact of the war on the lives of ordinary people and serve as a reminder of the harsh reality Ukrainian citizens face every day in their homes, shelters, and on the streets of the capital.
