Russian occupiers again conduct a brutal attack with a drone, resulting in the death of a resident of Kherson
The information was confirmed by the Kherson Regional Military Administration (OVA), which noted that the attack took place at noon on Friday, and the victim received injuries incompatible with life. According to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the OVA, the crime against a peaceful resident occurred in the Dniproskyi district of the city. "At noon, the occupation forces carried out an attack using a drone, as a result of which a 61-year-old man sustained severe injuries that were incompatible with life," Prokudin reported on his Telegram channel. It is known that the incident happened near his residence. Unfortunately, such tragic cases are not isolated on this day. According to local authorities and military sources, over the past day, mass shellings and attacks by Russian forces were recorded, affecting more than forty settlements across the Kherson region, including the regional center. This indicates a systematic pattern of aggression aimed at destroying critical infrastructure and residential neighborhoods. This time, Russian troops did not limit themselves to aerial attacks — ground targets were also targeted. Enemy artillery shelling damaged residential buildings, including multi-storey apartments and 17 private households. Additionally, the occupiers destroyed several important facilities, including a gas pipeline, warehouse premises, a garage, and several civilian vehicles. According to local reports, as a result of this wave of violence, three civilians were killed in the region, and six others were seriously wounded. Destruction followed both in densely populated residential areas and industrial zones, further complicating the living conditions of the population. The aggression by Russian forces continues to remind us of the high cost of peace in the region, as well as the need for increased attention and support for affected civilians. Local authorities urge residents to follow safety rules, while Ukrainian military forces continue their fight to regain control over occupied territories and ensure the safety of civilians. This once again clearly demonstrates the severity of the situation faced by Kherson residents and the high value placed on life during these difficult times of war.
