According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, in the coming days, the weather in most regions of the country will be unstable and changeable. It is important to note that rain, in some places heavy thunderstorms, and wind gusts up to 20 meters per second are expected, except in the eastern and southern regions, where, according to meteorologists, the situation will remain more stable. According to official information from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, from May 24 to 26, short-term rains and thunderstorms are to be expected across the country, except for the southeastern regions. These phenomena will be especially active in the Right-Bank Ukraine, where significant precipitation, hail, and wind gusts are possible. Forecasts suggest that squall wind speeds may reach 15-20 meters per second, which could cause temporary difficulties and require caution when traveling. Regarding the temperature regime, on the weekend in the western regions, weather conditions will be quite cool: nighttime temperatures will rise to 5-10 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures will fluctuate between 10 and 17 degrees Celsius. In the rest of Ukraine, the situation will be slightly warmer: at night, temperatures will rise to 12-18 degrees, and during the day, they will vary from 22 to 28 degrees Celsius. Starting from May 25, in Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, and Cherkasy regions, daytime temperatures are expected to increase to 18-24 degrees, indicating a stabilization of climatic conditions after adverse weather events. As for the capital, Kyiv, residents should be prepared for short-term rain over the weekend. Night temperatures will range from 14 to 16 degrees Celsius, and during the day, they will rise to +25 degrees. South-easterly winds with speeds of 7-12 meters per second are forecasted in the city, which should also be taken into account when planning walks, going outside, or traveling by minibus. Thus, the upcoming weekend weather in Ukraine remains variable and sometimes unpredictable. Residents should prepare for possible showers, thunderstorms, and squally winds, exercise caution during movement, and consider weather conditions in their plans.
