There is ongoing intense fighting on the Ukrainian front
Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders recorded nearly 150 battles with the Russian enemy, confirming a high level of activity and continuous pressure from the aggressor. About one-third of these engagements took place in the Pokrovsk direction — one of the hottest sectors of the front, where the grey front rooster does not remain silent. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 144 combat clashes occurred across different parts of the front line during the day. Specifically, the enemy launched 90 airstrikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements, dropped 144 guided aerial bombs, and used 2,492 kamikaze drones to target objectives. Additionally, the Russians carried out over five thousand artillery shellings, including 114 from rocket artillery systems, demonstrating the scale and coordination of enemy actions. In the Kharkiv sector, Russian forces continued attempts to advance. They tried four times to break through Ukrainian defenses in the areas of Vovchansk, Kamianka, and near Maly Shapkivka — all these attacks were repelled by Ukrainian defenders. In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy carried out four more assault operations, but Ukrainian military units successfully repelled advances near Kindrashivka, Zahryzovo, and Nova Kruhliakivka. The Lyman direction became especially tense, with 17 combat encounters recorded. The enemy attempted to advance towards the villages of Ridkodub, Hrekivka, and Zelena Dolyna, aiming to reach Novoserhiivka, Olhivka, Novyi Mir, and in the Serebrian district forest. All these attempts failed, and Ukrainian defenders maintained their positions. In the areas of Bilohorivka on the Sievierodonetsk line, Ukrainian units repelled two enemy attacks. In the Kramatorsk direction, three assaults were recorded in the Chasiv Yar area and around Predtechyne. On the Toretsk sector, a series of 16 attacks were successfully stopped in the areas of Diliivka, Druzhba, and Toretsk. The situations remain particularly tense on the Pokrovsk direction, where Ukrainian forces repelled 54 enemy assaults across various sectors over the past day. These included areas such as Yablunivka, Zori, Shevchenko, Novorolivka, Myrolubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Dachenke, Kotlyne, Novoserhiivka, Udonne, Troitske, Promin, Kotlyarivka, and in the areas of Popov Yar and Novomykolaivka. These efforts exemplify the resilience and bravery of Ukrainian troops, who continue to hold back and neutralize enemy attacks. Regarding other sectors, it is worth noting that on the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 19 Russian attacks attempting to break through in the areas of Bakhchyr, Odradne, Shevchenko, Vesela, Rivnopillya, Novopillya, Zelena Polya, and Vile Polya. In the Vysokyi area on the Huliaipole front, the enemy made three attempts to advance but was met with determined resistance from Ukrainian defenders. On the Orikhiv sector, Russian forces conducted four attacks in the areas of Shcherbakiv and Stepove, as well as toward Pavlivka — all of which were repelled during the day. Another frontline, the Dnipro flank, remained without significant breakthroughs. Occasional enemy attempts to advance concluded unsuccessfully. On the Kursk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled five Russian attacks during the same period, demonstrating stable defense. The active combat regime was supported by intensive firepower: in the past day, Russian forces launched 17 airstrikes with 34 guided aerial bombs, and conducted 191 artillery and rocket system shellings across all types of artillery and missile launchers. Ukrainian units responded with fire strikes, hitting 12 enemy concentration areas, three command posts, one air defense position, five missile and artillery systems, and two other critical enemy targets. This information once again confirms that Ukrainian defenders remain unyielding in their fight, managing to halt numerous enemy attacks and maintain strategic stability on the front. Meanwhile, the opponent suffers significant losses and continues active tactical operations, but the Ukrainian army demonstrates unwavering resilience and steadfastness in its battle for independence and territorial integrity.
