The consequences of another Russian attack occurred in Kyiv region — debris from a downed enemy target struck a residential building, causing injuries to five people and damage to their homes
The incident took place in the Boryspil district, where residents suffered serious damage and psychological stress due to the nighttime shelling. According to Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, the situation is of great concern. Volodymyr stated that a severe attack by Russian troops resulted not only in property destruction but also in human suffering. “Unfortunately, as a result of the enemy drone attack, an entire family from the Boryspil district was affected,” he reported on his Telegram. “Medical assessments indicated their condition. The 42-year-old mother has suffered an acute stress reaction. Her 17-year-old son sustained a stab wound to the foot, and a 13-year-old boy received a laceration on his leg. The youngest, a three-year-old girl, also experienced a stress reaction. Their 30-year-old husband was hospitalized with a wound above his eyebrow. Currently, all the affected individuals have received necessary medical assistance.” According to the regional head, the debris hit a residential building where these people were staying. As a result of the shelling, windows were shattered, the roof was damaged, and internal premises were destroyed. “We are actively working on securing temporary housing for the family,” assured Mykola Kalashnyk. “We are striving to ensure that people can return to normal life as quickly as possible and receive the necessary support.” Besides the residential complex, other infrastructure objects in the region were also damaged during the nighttime Russian attack: a non-residential building, vehicles, warehouses, and utility structures—all of which sustained destruction during the large-scale enemy operation. Photos from Telegram show vehicle debris and ruined buildings, which now require restoration. The circumstances of the incident are still under investigation; however, tension in the region has increased again, as enemy targets deliberately aim at civilian populations, destroying homes and disrupting ordinary life for peaceful residents. People recall with fear the night sounds of volleys and explosions that pierced the atmosphere. The recent destabilizing actions by the enemy once again confirm the need for reinforced security measures and support for those affected. Local authorities and medical professionals are exerting maximum effort to stabilize the situation and provide comprehensive assistance to those in need. Although the region’s residents are still recovering from the shock and destruction, they hope for quick recovery and protection against new attacks. This is yet another reminder of the price paid for peace and security in our country.
