They were promptly hospitalized at the nearest medical facilities. Three units of the State Emergency Service and mobile medical brigades were involved in clearing the aftermath of the shelling. Rescuers worked under the threat of further strikes and with risks to their own safety to help the victims and stabilize the situation. Together with law enforcement officers at the scene, investigators and criminologists documented the extent of the destruction, collected evidence, and established the circumstances of the criminal aggression.
