On the military front, a significant number of combat engagements were recorded over the past day — a total of 164, indicating high tension and activity across various directions
Most of these battles took place in strategically important areas for Ukraine’s defense, with particular concentration in the regions of Pokrovsk, Lyman, and two other key directions that remain constantly focused of military operations. These figures highlight the systematic nature of escalations and the efforts of Russian occupying forces to break through Ukrainian defenses and expand controlled territories. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reports a high intensity of combat activities in the listed directions. According to available information, the most active situation was observed in the Kharkiv direction — the enemy attempted to break through Ukrainian positions three times in the areas of Vovchansk and Stroyivka. Meanwhile, on the Kupiansk front, the enemy attacked the area of Novokrylaki, indicating attempts to expand the combat front in that sector. Notably, Russian occupiers intensified their actions 30 times on the Lyman direction, trying to breach defenses in such key settlements as Kopanky, Rydkodub, Novy Myr, Hrekivka, Zelenodolivka, Yampolivka, and Torske. At the same time, on the Siversk front, only one attempted breakthrough was recorded — in the area of Bilohorivka. On the Kramatorsk direction, occupying forces conducted six attacks in the areas of Chasivyi Yar, Kurdiumivka, as well as near Predtecha and Bila Horivka. On the Toretsk front, 14 assault attempts were noted in the regions of Druzhba, Petrivka, and Toretsk, demonstrating active defense by Ukrainian forces in this region. The situation is particularly critical on the Pokrovsk direction — here, Ukrainian troops successfully repelled 44 attacks by the enemy in the areas of Yablunivka, Novoolenivka, Malynivka, Shevchenko Pershe, Myrolubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zviriv, Udachny, Novosergeevka, Troiitske, Kotlyarivka, and Andriivka. This reflects active defensive efforts and a high level of determination by Ukrainian defenders. On the Novopavlivsk direction, Russian forces launched 33 attacks in the areas of Vilne Pole, Pryvilne, Zelenoe Pole, Kostiantynopol, Bahatyr, Burlatske, Veselyi, and on approaches to Odradne. Meanwhile, on the Huliaipole direction, Ukrainian units repelled two attempts to assault in the Vesokyi area. The occupiers also launched two attacks in the area of Novoanderiivka and Mali Shcherbaky on the Orikhiv sector, attempting to break through Ukrainian defensive positions. On the Dnipro direction, the enemy made one unsuccessful attempt to advance, while efforts to form offensive groups in the Volyn and Polissya directions are absent, indicating a lack of active offensive plans in those sectors. On the Kursk direction, the enemy carried out a large-scale attack — 19 air strikes involving 40 cruise missiles, as well as 261 artillery shellings, including four from multiple rocket launch systems (MLRS). Ukrainian defenders successfully stopped 13 assault actions by the enemy, helping to reduce their combat potential and prevent further enemy advancement into Ukrainian territory. Overall, Ukrainian forces are conducting systematic defense and inflicting tangible losses on the occupation troops in personnel and equipment. The active destruction of logistical chains and undermining the enemy’s offensive capacity in the rear are bringing us closer to victory, despite ongoing Russian efforts to break Ukrainian defenses and consolidate control over occupied territories. This combat dynamic demonstrates the high tension and persistence of Ukrainian soldiers, who steadfastly defend Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity despite extensive shelling and attempts by the enemy to break through.
