Russian drones again launched an attack on Dnipropetrovsk region: explosions and fires at farm and industrial facilities
Over the night, several large-scale fires occurred in Dnipropetrovsk region as a result of attacks by Russian drones. Information about the consequences of this nocturnal attack has been officially confirmed by regional authorities. According to Serhii Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Russian drones once again attempted to cause damage to the region, and although Ukrainian defenders managed to destroy three drones, the effects were still felt. “During the night, Russian occupiers targeted our region with drones,” Serhii Lysak reported on his Telegram channel. “Our air defenses successfully destroyed three targets, but the attack still caused damage. Fires broke out at a farm in Pavlohrad District, which are currently being extinguished by firefighters. Both the farm and the surrounding infrastructure were affected.” According to available information, in Synelnykove District — one of the key zones of the region — significant destruction occurred at one of the enterprises following a drone attack. A fire also broke out there, which firefighters have already extinguished. These damages have raised considerable concerns about further implications for local manufacturing and agriculture. There is no less tension in Nikopol District, where the occupiers resorted to using FPV drones and artillery for attacks on populated areas and surrounding communities. It is reported that the cities of Nikopol, Pokrovske, Myrivska, and Marhanetska communities were targeted, with numerous infrastructure damages recorded. However, according to Lysak, no casualties or injuries have been reported as a result of these attacks. “The entire night was marked by shelling and drone attacks, but we managed to avoid human losses,” emphasized the regional head. He also added that Ukrainian defenders are making every effort to prevent further damage and to quickly extinguish the fires. Nevertheless, the war continues, and daily destruction becomes an increasingly real reality for the residents of the region, forcing them to live in constant anxiety and uncertainty. Overall, the nightly attack once again demonstrated the high intensity of Russian armed operations in this part of Ukraine. Local authorities urge residents to remain vigilant, and emergency services to be prepared for rapid response. Meanwhile, Ukrainian military and rescue personnel continue to fight the consequences and prevent the enemy from achieving its goals, despite ongoing threats and difficult conditions.
