A tragic incident occurred in Kharkiv at one of the military centralized territorial complexes (RTCK) and storage facilities— a man committed suicide

According to law enforcement authorities, this high-profile incident took place on May 12 inside a military training facility located in the center of Kharkiv. As reported by the regional police, a 39-year-old man, a resident of Kharkiv, jumped out of the third-floor window while inside the RTCK during the morning hours. Medical personnel who arrived at the scene confirmed the man's death from injuries sustained in the fall. Police note that no signs of violent death were found on the victim, aside from obvious injuries and damages caused solely by the fall from height. It is noted that, in accordance with current legislation, a criminal investigation has been opened into this tragedy under Article "Intentional Murder," Part 1, with a note "suicide." Importantly, the police are conducting a thorough check of all circumstances surrounding the incident, including the actions of officials and staff involved in managing the facility. To provide an independent and objective assessment of all actions taken by the RTCK and SP personnel, the case materials have been transferred to the State Bureau of Investigation, which is tasked with investigating possible negligence or any violations on their part. Currently, a detailed investigation is underway to determine all the circumstances of the tragedy.
