In Donetsk region, tragic consequences have been recorded over the past day due to another massive shelling by Russian forces: a civilian woman was killed, several people were injured, many of whom are in serious condition

The information was confirmed by Vadym Fіlashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, in his official Telegram channel, emphasizing that the situation remains extremely tense. According to the regional leader, a missile and drone attack on Donetsk took place on Saturday morning, resulting in tragic outcomes for the civilian population. Specifically, in the settlement of Yablunivka in the Illinivska community, Russian FPV-type drones delivered a fatal strike — a 27-year-old woman was killed as a result of the shelling, and a local shop was destroyed and damaged, further highlighting the scale of destruction and human losses. Additionally, in the same area, the enemy attacked a civilian vehicle with a drone. As a result, several people were wounded, including a minor child. In total, five residents of the Andriivska community were injured in missile or drone strikes, among whom is a child under 18. Preliminary reports indicate that the condition of the injured remains serious, and they are receiving necessary medical care. Moreover, other cities in the region were affected by the shelling. In Pokrovsk, two people were injured, and one more was wounded in Mrynograd. All victims are currently under medical supervision. Local authorities and civil protection services are working intensively and doing everything possible to prevent further casualties and the spread of destruction. The response of the population and authorities to this tragic event once again underscores the difficult situation in Donetsk, where civilians face daily dangers due to Russian shelling. The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Command and local administrations are urging residents to be cautious, follow safety rules, and not ignore alarm signals. Officials emphasize that the war continues, and the daily fight for the lives and safety of citizens remains their top priority. This attack once again serves as a reminder of the brutal and merciless confrontation unfolding in Donetsk for over a year, destroying cities, dismantling infrastructure, and claiming human lives. Local authorities and volunteers call for unity and support for those affected, as each death is a loss for the entire community, and each new injury is a reminder of the need to strengthen defenses and help those who need it most. The citizens of Donetsk have again found themselves at the epicenter of a war whose destructive power manifests daily, forcing them to struggle for their very lives under the harshest conditions. Authorities emphasize: the fight continues, and alongside the community, everyone must do everything possible to restore peace and safety in the region.
