In the context of ongoing support for Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression, Warsaw once again affirms its commitment to the shared cause and is preparing a new large-scale military aid package for Ukraine. According to Piotr Łukasiewicz, head of the Polish Embassy in Ukraine, this assistance will have a financial value of over 200 million euros and will be transferred to the Ukrainian side in the coming months. In the interview he gave as part of his collaboration with the publication "European Pravda," he sheds light on the plans of the Polish government and demonstrates Warsaw's deep commitment to supporting Ukraine in its difficult confrontation with Russia. The ambassador stated that Poland aims to provide Ukrainian forces with essential resources, including ammunition, modern communication systems, spare parts, and other critically important items that help Ukrainian military personnel maintain their defense. It is worth noting that this is already the fourth large-scale Polish military aid package. The so-called 46th package was worth approximately 230 million euros and included a wide range of military equipment and materials — from ammunition to communications systems and spare parts. These resources have been provided to Ukraine since 2022, when the regional situation began to intensify, and support continues through the end of 2024. Overall, over the past two years, Poland has demonstrated its readiness to continue supporting Ukraine in its confrontation with external aggression, emphasizing ongoing assistance and strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities. This not only reflects political will but also confirms Poland’s strategic role in the region, aiming not only to be an important partner for Kyiv but also an active participant in processes aimed at strengthening stability and security in Eastern Europe. Regardless of the challenges, Warsaw remains committed to supporting Ukraine and providing the necessary support — both material and political — in the effort to help the Ukrainian people overcome the difficult crisis and preserve the country's integrity.
