Air Defense Forces in Kyiv Region Have Increased Activities in Response to Enemy Drones

In the Kyiv region, air defense forces have intensified their efforts to combat enemy drones. On the night of May 15, the region was again struck by unidentified drones, prompting local aviation and defense systems to be put on high alert. According to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration (KOVA), it has been recorded that enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were detected in the area, and air defense units are now operating in an enhanced mode, attempting to intercept and destroy potential targets. KOVA reports that at 1:13 AM, an air raid alert was declared due to suspicion of enemy drones appearing in the region. Less than an hour later, at 2:13 AM, the alarm sounded also in Kyiv. Air defense crews and military personnel employed all necessary means to intercept and destroy the unidentified drones attempting to breach the airspace of the capital and nearby districts.
