At night, temperatures will stay around 8-10°C, and during the day they will rise to +18°C. The wind will be variable, south-western, with a speed of 7-12 m/s, with gusts. May 16 — mixed weather This day will mainly feature rain in the north, central, and Odesa regions. Precipitation will occur as heavy showers, and wet snow may also occur in the Carpathians. In other regions, there will be less rainfall, although some areas might experience short-term showers. Night temperatures will drop to 3-9°C, and during the day they will rise to 14-19°C. In the east and south-east of the country, temperatures may reach up to 23°C, while in the western regions they will only be 8-13°C. The wind will continue from the south-west at 7-12 m/s. The capital will experience another day of rain with thunderstorms on Friday. Nighttime temperatures will fall to 5-7°C, and daytime will not exceed +13°C. The wind, oriented from the south-west, will intensify to 5-10 m/s. Overall forecast — May 17 The final date of this period of unpredictable weather — May 17 — will bring moderate rain across the entire country. Night temperatures will fluctuate between 3 and 10°C, and daytime temperatures will be in the range of 14-19°C. In the east and south-east, warmer weather up to 20°C is expected, while in the western regions, temperatures will drop to 12-14°C. In summary, the atmospheric instability will persist for over three days, causing not only cold rains but also thunderstorms and wet snow in mountain areas. The wind will blow from the south-west at 7-12 m/s, sometimes intensifying to 15-20 m/s. Such weather conditions can create many difficulties for residents, especially those planning travel or engaged in agriculture—particularly in the mountains. Meteorologists forecast that these weather changes will continue for several more days, so it is advisable to wear appropriate clothing and exercise caution during heavy showers and thunderstorms.
