Ukroboronprom is launching a large-scale initiative for Ukrainians abroad, offering them the opportunity to return home and find decent employment on their native land
Through a program called "Return of Ukrainians," the state defense corporation aims to support compatriots who, due to wars and crises, had to leave Ukraine but now aspire to return and establish their place in a revived country. According to the company's press service, this initiative was launched amid a widespread mobilization of Ukrainians abroad, particularly in Poland, where many compatriots left Ukraine following the full-scale invasion by Russia, seeking temporary shelter and opportunities for a new start. Unfortunately, not all of them can easily reorient themselves or return to stable life in Ukraine, considering the loss of contacts and professional training they previously had. However, among those who find themselves outside the homeland, there are many equipped with valuable skills and experience, especially in the fields of defense, technology, engineering, or strategic planning. Therefore, Ukroboronprom has focused on their potential role in restoring Ukraine's defense industry. The program's goal is to help displaced persons return to Ukraine and secure a stable job here that matches their level of qualification and experience. According to the report, the first interviews and meetings with potential candidates interested in returning to Ukrainian enterprises are already underway in Poland. Communication with candidates is taking place at the representative office of JSC "UOP" (Ukrainian Defense Industry Portal) in Poland. At the same time, to facilitate participation and broaden opportunities, plans are in place to introduce an online interview format, allowing Ukrainians from other countries to join the program without having to travel in person. Ukroboronprom's efforts are directed not only at restoring Ukrainians' employment but also at building strong social support for those returning. They will receive not only decent work in high-tech sectors but also guarantees of social protection, legal support, and opportunities for professional development and growth within national defense structures. This is an important step towards uniting efforts to restore Ukraine, strengthen its defense capabilities, and return to peaceful life on their native land. It is planned that the "Return of Ukrainians" program will become a large-scale project with long-term prospects, aimed at restoring Ukrainian manufacturing chains and strengthening the country's defense sector by attracting the best specialists who, due to circumstances, had to seek happiness abroad. This is not only a strategy for Ukrainians to return home but also for the growth of Ukrainian industry and the creation of new opportunities for Ukrainians in their homeland.
